ALI SYED

An explorer at heart, Ali experiments with ideas and is always abuzz with solutions, particularly in the areas of Culture and Communication.


Ali Syed has been part of the Carnelian team since 2013. After completing his Masters in Business Administration from the Lahore University of Management Sciences, Ali joined the team as an Associate Consultant. Since then, he has served in various roles, including heading the marketing team at Carnelian. Currently, Ali is adding value to the organization and its partners as a Trainer and Consultant.


Ali’s primary areas of interest are employee well-being and communication; because of this, over the last few years, Ali has worked with numerous organizations on a range of skill-building and cultural intervention initiatives.


Some of the sessions that Ali has conducted recently include stress management (Ali is a Certified Stress Management Coach from the Center of Stress Management, London), energy management, personal excellence, communication skills, people management & goal setting, negotiations skills, time management, attitude, customer service, action planning, value roll-outs, feedback, change management and project management. He has also been involved in carrying out sales conferences, customer engagement sessions as well as designing and executing assessment centers for a number of his clients. Ali has also participated in multiple consulting assignments, which include performance management systems design, 360-degree feedback exercises, gap analysis exercises and storyboarding for internal awareness campaigns.


Ali likes to explore answers to the many questions he has in life, mainly through reading and watching documentaries. He is based in Karachi.
